North Carolina Basket

Though I was born and raised in New York and traveled the world, since 1986 I have called North Carolina "home".  When you think of North Carolina: NASCAR, moonshine, tobacco, Andy Griffith, Duke University, Chapel Hill and the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk, may come to mind.  These are all iconic symbols of North Carolina.  There are products from North Carolina, such as PEPSI, that claim North Carolina as their birthplace.  This is a small sampling of the lesser known but common staples from "The Old North State!"
